That with shamanistic rage means while solo'ing you will never oom (I haven't while solo'ing). While solo'ing most shaman will have water shield which gives huge mana returns when you're hit. Water Shield and Shamanistic Rage is suppose to minimize downtime to virtually none in most, if not all, cases. Frankly, the only way I saw myself going OOM would be replacing everything Lightning Bolt with a Chain Lightning and throwing out too many Healing Waves. This is no exception to Lava Lash and Lightning Bolt. I have used everything at my disposal when I was leveling with WF/FT. Ofcourse you milage may vary sligthly - but in general while leveling most people wont have good enough gear to justify WF/FT, and all theory crafting I've seen so far shows it to be marginally better at best under ideal conditions/gear. ie not casting lava lash/LB, etc just cause they are up - but only if you need it and have enough mana. While grinding you wont have "infinite mana" and you will instead cast only as much as you can to avoid down time. WF/FT is (theoretically atleast) better than WF/WF with apropriate spec/buffs/ap and "infinite mana" - it is this because you are supposed to cast every time it's possible. I fail to see how having WF/FT would consume more mana than WF/WF would. My seemingly random damage spells - as far as living bomb, execute, etc, i wanted something i could throw on an off target that would soften them up decently, i learned gorrote, living bomb, ghostly strike, and hemorrhage do a decent job so i kept it for way longer then i expected to.This if for raiding - for solo play and leveling dual WF will outshine WF/FT simply becuse it relies less on mana and buffs from others ( replenish, etc ) The mana regen was neccessary while questing to be able to maintain enough mana to throw a flash heal out every once in a while to keep myself alive. Mana regen - Alot of this stuff was just something i had while questing. i think) after using lavalash/stormstrike. Also i have specced into a few things that increase nature damage (and regular damage. Just gonna list my reasons here instead of a block of textģ weapon enchants + windfury totem - a long ass time ago before i really knew what direction i wanted to take this build i had my sights set on windfury for one weapon and without looking into either lavalash/stormstrike i decided that i should get rockbiter and just never got rid of it.
